We realize that life is lonely living alone. Yep, we all need someone to hold at night, talk to and share our deepest secrets with, but finding the right person is a matter of trial and error. We need to go out and get to know a bunch of potential partners before we can find the one that we can get along with really well. Get inspired on your way towards dating by these tips. Let’s GO!!
Tip #1: Get in shape
There was a reason why this was the first posting of 2018. It’s essential that you do your best to live a healthy lifestyle in order to have a healthy relationship with someone else. Over a third of the population would like to achieve this goal. Remember, start small, establish a plan and find a mentor, to name a few. Before you know it, you’ll be consistent and unstoppable.
Tip #2: Find happiness with YOUR life.
Before seeking someone else, it’s important to find happiness within yourself. Even if you are in good shape, have accumulated wealth over the years, you can still be unhappy. Be patient and devote some time to finding joy in the small things and don’t let problems weigh you down.
Tip #3: Become more confident
People are quick to notice other who display a sense of confidence. Such people are more willing to express their opinions and tend to get ahead farther in their career. This tip flows well into Tip #2 because confidence will help you lead a more happier life. However, displaying a little too much confidence comes across as being arrogant, so be sure to remain aware of emotions when your confidence is on full display.
Tip #4: Read More
Reading allows you to gain a lot of knowledge on a variety of topics, as well as allows you to exercise your brain. Depending on your schedule, it’s not difficult to go through at least 20 books a year. The key is to make it a habit, discover the type of books that are intriguing to you and set aside some time to incorporate reading into your schedule.
Tip #5: Learn to dress with style
This one is a no-brainer for people who are frequent readers of this blog. The way you dress says a lot about you. Furthermore, wearing the correct clothes makes you seem confident and powerful, which is a turn-on for women (as well as can help you land a good job.) Know the dresscode and live with style.
Tip #6: Get out and meet people
There are different ways to meet great people, but from our experience at EbonyDo, we’ve seen how volunteering and the arts, music, and cultural events are where people tend to find others with similar interest. To devote your time and energy to helping those in need is a considered a noble gesture and a reward in itself. Additionally, topics like art, music, history, and culture often baffle people, but they can be easy to comprehend if you spend enough time learning about them.
Tip #7: Learn to cook
Cooking is one of the essential skill that every man should possess. It allows you to save money, eat the food you love just the way you like it and impress dates with lovely meals shared by candlelight. If you learn some useful tips, keep your kitchen clean and avoid common mistakes, nothing stands between you meeting that special someone.
Tip #8: Become more polite
Good manners have always been important. They make it easier to connect with others, avoid offending people and will ensure that others perceive you as a good and trustworthy person.
Tip #9: Grooming
In the past, we’ve spoken about grooming. It would be a huge mistake to have the right shoes, right suit and be poorly groomed. By this time, you should have found a good relationship with your barber. If not, then you need to find a trusted friend who has a good barber and ask him for recommendations. If you have facial hair, make sure your recommendation is coming from someone who has facial hair or has seen the barber cut others with facial hair. The last thing you want is a jacked up haircut, while out looking for a date.
Tip #10: Become more romantic
Romance is often the first casualty in longer, more serious relationships, but it doesn’t have to be that way. A few romantic gesture here and there can keep the passion going for decades. Trust us, it will be fun, even if you’re not the romantic type.
